When the puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks, they will be eating Iam's Large Breed Puppy Food. Your puppy should be eating 2 cups of food a day spread over 3 feedings, 8AM, 2PM, and 6PM. It is recommended to follow the feeding guideline with the puppy food. At 14 -16 weeks your puppy should be transitioned to eating twice a day. If you decide to change the puppy's food, make sure there is a transition period. The puppies will also be on a nutritional supplement Nuvet; these supplements can be ordered at the link below. It is strongly recommended that your puppy stays on the vitamin for a minimum of a year.
